Coronavirus – PLA’s protocol


There is panic in the air as the Coronavirus pandemic is just starting to take hold in the United States. I’m sure we have all gone to grocery stores and found them empty of the essentials – protein, water, hand sanitizers and soap, toilet paper and much more.


We believe the CDC when they tell us to wash our hands for at least 20 seconds, limit ourselves to events with less than 50 people, and practice social distancing.


We at Personal Living Alert are dedicated to protecting your clients with medical alert systems. We want to ensure you, your loved ones and your clients that we have put the following protocol in place.


1. All systems are disinfected twice. The first time is when we take the unit out of the original box. The second time is after we set up the unit and test. The unit is again disinfected before it is placed back in the box.


2. Our staff always uses protect gloves when handling a system


3. The box is thoroughly wiped and disinfected before it is sent to a client.


4. When Personal Living Alert installs the unit at your clients residence we use hand sanitizers before we enter and again in front of your client.


We appreciate the trust you have in us and we wanted to share our steps in protecting your clients.


While you know we like to meet every client. Personally install every unit. We are prepared and ready to ship medical alert protection systems to you, your family and your clients.
